Travelling to St Michael's Centre
Arriving by car?
We have a number of parking bays on site, as shown on the map opposite. There is on-street parking on North Road, The Green and other surrounding roads. Some on-street parking may have restrictions so please note these before leaving your car. We also ask that all visitors park with consideration for our neighbours and other users of St Michael's Centre. Next door, Bristol Parkway Station has a large multi-story car park that is open for all, Parkway is a 3 minute walk away from the Centre. This is by far the easiest and best parking option. Arriving by bus? You can use the Hatchet Lane bus stop for the 73 bus and the M4 bus. Hatchet Lane bus stop is a 4 minute walk away from the Centre. You can also use Bristol Parkway bus stop for the 19 and 73 bus, M1 and M4 buses. The Parkway North Park & Ride on Hunts Ground Road includes 210 parking spaces and cycle lockers for 10 bikes. Additional parking facilities are available in Parkway Station. You do not have to catch a bus when you park at this site. You can park and walk, wheel, scoot, cycle or catch a train from Parkway Station. The Park and Ride then will take you to Hatchet Road, where it is a short 4 minute walk from the Centre. Arriving by train? Bristol Parkway Station has regular train services from the rest of the country. With the major station of Bristol Temple Meads being a short train trip away, you can almost come from anywhere in the country. Arriving by plane? Bristol Airport is a 30 minute drive away from St Michael's Centre. Arriving by taxi? There is a popular taxi rank based at Bristol Parkway Station Doing our bit by being eco... As we are an ARocha ECO accredited Church (of which St Michael's Centre is a part of) we encourage all staff and visitors to our centre to use public transport or walk/cycle when they can. |
